AltSEAN-Burma
Mission
AltSEAN-Burma is a network of organisations that work towards strengthening human rights and democracy in Southeast Asia, with a particular focus on Burma.
Areas of Work
The network focuses on thematic areas including atrocity prevention, business and human rights, democracy and human rights, and women's rights.
Atrocity Prevention Programs/Activities
The network disseminates monthly bulletins and regular thematic briefs regarding human rights abuses in Burma, provides Burmese translations of UN atrocity prevention documents to assist local Burmese human rights groups, and hosts regular workshops and training programmes for regional advocates of human rights.
